Food & Wine Evenings.

We are delighted to advise you of our plans for this year’s events at The Old Forge. You will notice some changes from previous years as we attempt to keep the evenings fresh and interesting.

We are hoping to feature even more winemaker dinners during 2007 and have several wine makers lined up to join us during the course of the year as their schedule permits. By the time you receive this letter we will have already had an evening with Jeff Dewar of Willow Bridge in Western Australia. If you are interested in attending these please make sure we have your telephone number as they are often arranged at fairly short notice.

We will be presenting these Food and Wine Dinners this year each representing differing regions of the wine making world.

 The Wines of New Zealand …………… 6th to 8th September

The Flavours of Spain ….. 29 & 30th November and 1st December

A 5 course Dinner will be served with 6 wines selected from the various countries or regions and will cost £60.00 per person.

Summer nowadays wouldn’t be the same if we didn’t have Jazz at The Forge to look forward to and 2007 will be no exception.

4 course dinner with 5 wines listening to the sounds of Summer Jazz and Blues. Cost of these evenings will be £60.00 per person.

As always we will do our utmost to ensure an interesting and enjoyable evening and look forward to seeing you at one or more of them.
